We have various events during the year, which we’d love you to join:
- AbstiLent – Please join us in sponsored abstinence from alcohol, sugar, chocolate, TV or any other habit of your choice from Ash Wednesday to Easter Sunday.
- Open Day – This annual event will take place on Saturday 11th July – an afternoon of fun, fellowship, stalls and games. Gates open 1pm (free entry and parking) with a hog roast lunch available to purchase (£10) or bring a picnic. Also open from 1pm are stalls and games for all the family – bouncy castle, golf, penalties, ice-creams, crafts, cakes. At 3pm.we gather on the main lawn for an open air service of worship, which is always uplifting and inspiring as we hear from current and former residents. Do bring protection from sun or rain if necessary and something to sit on. We round off the day with the legendary strawberry teas, supported for the very last time by the wonderful Grays Farm in Wokingham. - Celebration services – Look out for more details of Celebration services taking place during the year at local churches and on-line. Everyone welcome! Next event: Friday 25th September, venue to be confirmed
- Prayer Meetings – We hold intercessory monthly prayer meetings with residents on the first working Monday evening of every month at 8pm. We would welcome more people to join these low-key prayer times.
- Sponsored events – We sometimes have sponsored events organised, or you are welcome to undertake an event of your own; every pound helps our residents in their recovery from addiction
